Opened in 1841 at Leighton Moss by the Primitive Methodists. Closed in 1899, when the Society transferred to the newly erected Crewe, Bradfield Road Chapel (Ref. EMS 50), and the old chapel was sold to James Wood of Willaston near Nantwich.
